Wireless Upgrade at Both Properties

We are excited to announce that we have recently completed an upgrade of our Wi-Fi systems at both the Knights Inn Traverse City and the Howard Johnson Traverse City!

Many of our guests have given us great feedback about our internet systems.  We took that feedback, along with the input of a local consulting firm, and completed an overhaul of all phases of the system.  This included new modems and routers, more powerful antennas, increased user capacity, and the highest speed available in our area.  We appreciate all of the great comments and suggestions that our guests gave to us regarding our wireless capabilities.   We know it is important to you, whether you are with us for business or leisure. 

Don't forget that wireless access is always complimentary to each of our guests, along with local and long distance calls within the United States.

December 14th - January 2nd Festival of Trains

This annual event features full layouts of model trains in unique designs and tremendous detail. Held at the History Center of Traverse City, it is a great event for the model train enthusiast, along with adults and kids of all ages.

January 8th Annual Downtown Bridal Show

The Downtown Traverse City Association looks forward to welcoming all brides-and-grooms-to-be to come and see the latest offerings for that special day. Several local vendors will be there to provide information about their services and help those in planning a great day for you and your guests.

February 4th Annual White Pine Stampede

A northern Michigan tradition, this cross-country ski race will feature 10K, 20K, and 50K races through the wooded area around Shanty Creek Resort. It is always a great time for all winter sport enthusiasts.

February 17th - 19th Cherry Capital Winter Wow!Fest

Details are still being worked out for this highlight of the winter season in Traverse City. Winter Wow!Fest is the main celebration of all things winter, with sleigh rides, ice sculptures, family events and, for the adults, a heated beer tent. We will post more details as they become available.
